MINING GIVES LIFE

Mining in our lives can contribute substantially to the economy and those who oppose its development should come up with an alternative development plan that will work in the real world. Many people outside the mining industry are definitely in favor of developing mining in our own country provided that it is properly regulated and supervised. These people will surely argue that minerals play a very important specific situation in our lives. In fact, it would be difficult to conceive a world without minerals and especially mining. Almost everything we need and use whether on the farm or in the city, our means of transportation, our communication systems and others- all in part requires minerals. About majority of the people in the world depend on minerals; they contend that mining is here to stay because it provides us with what are now our necessities of life.

One of the catchy phrases today is “Sustainable development”- defines as “development that meets the need of the present and future without compromising the ability of future generalizations to meet their own needs.

Mining doesn’t have to be so destructive in the environment as the official motto of the FSE- Goldfields, “if we can not explore safely, we will not explore”. Some of the most serious problems facing the country are the direct result of destructing the natural environment. Mining is associated in the public mind with this, but in fact, if it is not the main culprit. The real culprit had been widespread deforestation, the most of which was not caused by mining.

Our country needs to improve its mining industry in such a way that people participate in the fruits of mining and that environment is nit damaged.

            This can be done!
